Welcome to the Plainsman Museum Online!

Congratulations Bob!
We are very excited to announce that one of our volunteers, Bob Cool, received the Heritage Award from History Nebraska during our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon this last Sunday!
Congratulations Bob, and thank you for all you've done to help preserve the history of Hamilton County, NE!

Notice:
While our Main Building is open year-round, our seasonal buildings - the Agricultural Building, the Bates House, and the One Room Schoolhouse - will be closed for the winter season from November 01, 2022 - March 31, 2023.
Even though our outbuildings will be closed, there's still plenty in store for the winter months in the museum's Main Building! Check out our Events Calendar for further details.
Thank you!
