With the ongoing presence of COVID-19, we ask that visitors to the Plainsman Museum please follow the latest guidelines from the CDC and Central District Health Department during their visit.

Please...

  • If you feel sick or have a fever, do not visit the Plainsman Museum.

  • Wear a cloth or medical mask, particularly if you are in contact with others where it is difficult to maintain a 6-foot distance.

  • Maintain at least 6 feet between yourself and other visitors, staff or volunteers not in your party.

  • Wash your hands and use the hand sanitizer station upon entering and leaving the building.

Notice:

Our Agricultural Building and the Bates' House are currently closed for renovations. The Bates' House will be open to the public later this spring. We will provide further information as progress is made on the Agricultural Building. Check in on our website and Facebook page as updates are made available.

 DIRECTIONS

From I-80 take Exit #332

Go north (toward Aurora) for 3 Miles.
Museum is on east side of Highway 14 (aka 16th St.)

From Intersection of  Hwy 34 & 14 in Aurora

Turn south on Highway 14 for approximately 1/2 mile.

Museum is on the east side of the street.
