OPERATION OVERRUN

For the Plainsman Museum

Corn Field Barn

Join others in helping preserve the Agricultural History of Hamilton Co., NE!

This harvest season, consider donating excess grain bushels to the Plainsman Museum, and help preserve Hamilton County’s agricultural history. The museum’s extensive collection of agricultural implements, photos, and records help keep alive the stories of farmers like you for generations to come.

See where your gifts will go!

With your bushel donations, you can help us continue to preserve the history of Hamilton County's farmers and broader community. Monies collected from donations will go towards maintaining our buildings, exhibits, and records throughout the museum, including our revitalized Agricultural Building!

Beginning in 2019, the Plainsman Museum undertook a massive renovation effort to restore our Agricultural Building and its exhibits. With the help of dedicated museum staff, volunteers, local businesses, generous individual donations and grants, we have been able to revitalize the exhibition space - growing upon the strong foundations given to us and adding new materials to ensure their care for the future! With your gifts, you can help us continue to enhance our agricultural exhibits, maintain our donated farm implements, pay for any needed maintenance to our buildings, catalogue our historical records, and continue to tell the stories of Hamilton County farmers - YOUR stories - for generations to come!
